Knit this vest using our vintage pattern. Sleeveless Vest or Pullover, knit in sport weight yarn. The original yarn used for this project was the Mary Maxim Mellowspun sport weight yarn that offered 210 yards per 2-ounce skein. With a variety of sport-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires knitting needles size U.S. 4 (3.5 mm), 6 (4 mm), and 8″ (20 cm) double point needles U.S. size 4 (3.5 mm).
