Originally knit with Mary Maxim Super Fingering yarn which offered approximately 122 yards on a 1-ounce skein at the time. With a variety of fingering-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Requires knitting needles size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm) and a medium size steel crochet hook for the trim.
